Although On Foot to Canterbury did not win the best trade non-fiction book at the 2022 Alberta Book Publishers Awards (that honour went to another University of Alberta Press title, Impact: Women Writing After Concussion), it did win best book design. Congratulations to Alan Brownoff, the man behind all of the great book designs at UAP, for some well-deserved recognition by his peers in the book industry.

Congratulations also to Annie Schiefer who championed On Foot to Canterbury in the annual Georgian Bay Reads competition and took home the People's Choice Award! Thanks Annie!
