Banjo Friday 14

Today, I want to feature the playing of Frank Evans. I first heard Frank playing with the Slocan Ramblers at Banjofest in Guelph in March 2020, just before everything closed down for Covid, where he switched effortlessly between bluegrass and old-time banjo styles, playing in both three-fingered and clawhammer style. Not many banjoists can do that. Most stick with one style of playing. This may be one reason that he is in-demand as a back-up banjo player as well. He has a new album coming soon with fiddler Ben Plotnick. Here is a cut from that album:
