50 Books: 19-25
Since the Hilary Weston Prize announcement, my life has gotten busier, and I haven't had much time to read, but I haven't forgotten the challenge I set myself. Here are the latest titles I have read.
While waiting for season two of The Witcher to drop on Netflix, I decided to try some of the books upon which it is based. I read The Time of Contempt, Baptism of Fire, and The Tower of Swallows by Andrzej Sapkowski. If you liked Game of Thrones, you would probably enjoy these too.
I read another mystery by Robert van Gulik, The Chinese Gold Murders.
I also read a couple of travel books for pure escape. Ernesto "Che" Guevara's The Motorcycle Diaries, and Colin Fletcher's The Thousand-Mile Walk and The Man Who Walked Through Time. I'll write more about these last two in a later post.
Twenty-five down, Twenty-five to go, and three months to read. I think I'll make it.
